Learning Modules
NCADEMI offers a web-based professional course on accessibility fundamentals. This course is designed for self-paced individual use, and also for adoption by educational agencies or educator preparation programs.
To kick off our learning modules, we have expanded the Accessibility Basics to create a set of skill-based lessons focused on making digital instructional content accessible, ensuring students with disabilities can perceive, navigate, and engage with learning materials. Access the NCADEMI Accessibility Fundamentals course and start creating more accessible digital documents, videos, and images.

Over the next several months, we will publish additional learning materials. Some of these will be new accessibility skills like creating alternative text for complex images. Others will be guides for creating accessible content in common tools like Google Docs.
While NCADEMI does not currently provide credit for course completion, we are working toward this. Credit-bearing agencies and institutions are free to use and adapt our Canvas-based modules under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License.
