Students with disabilities can face barriers when digital learning materials lack the accessibility needed to work effectively with assistive technology. This session introduces NCADEMI’s Quality Indicators of Education Systems that Deliver Accessible Materials and explores how they can help districts build coordinated systems for selecting, creating, and using accessible educational materials and technology. Through a guided simulation using NCADEMI’s self-assessment tool, participants will examine current practices, discuss common challenges, and identify an action they can take to strengthen accessibility in their district.
